Fantasy
Warplay also offers Birthday Party and Events Packages with various
options and choices as well as scaled down version for all age groups.
I am a credentialed Montessori School Teacher for children birth
to six and have taught first grade through twelfth grade as well
as college courses and can scale an adventure to any age group and
any size. I have a BA in Theater Arts (among other things) and am
a Credentialed Multi-Subject Public School Teacher. I have been
running these events professionally for the past ten years.

A basic
party consists of me bringing the gear, either to the birthday persons
house if the land is big enough, or to a local park where we will
meet and play. Depending on the complexity and timeframe of the
event, I may need to meet in advance to discuss specifics and details.
The choices are as follows (if none of the options below are what
you are looking for, feel free to contact me to work out what you
have in mind):
- Standard Basic
Battles:
(games that use the weapons but no plot, just battles- capture
the flag, etc.). These events are run by my staff, not me specifically.
- Premium Basic
Battles:
(games that use weapons like capture the flag etc. and class
based gladiator style events). Professional Supervision.
- Premium Simple
Adventure:
(battles with a storyline, monsters and heros). Professional
Supervision.
- Premium Complex
Plot: (a
fully fleshed out adventure with riddles and twists, customized).
Professional Supervision.
- Standard Basic Battles: (capture the flag, team battles,
run by my support staff). $50 + per child hourly rate.
- Premium Basic Battles: (class based capture the flag etc.
run by me): $100 + per child hourly rate.
- Premium Simple Adventures (storyline, monster and heros,
run by me personally): $150 + per child hourly rate.
- Premium Complex Adventures (riddles,
twists, customized and facilitated by me personally): $200 +
per child hourly rate (minimum time frame of 2 hours for complex
plots).
- Hourly Rate = $5 per child per
hour.
- Siblings and Parents can be monsters
for free!
- Add on: Birthday Weapon (I make a
weapon for your child to keep), add $25 for basic weapon, $50
for professional grade.
- Add on: Birthday Item (hand painted
sheild or small treasure chest): add $100.
- (Travel Fee): I work out of Ukiah,
CA. If you are not planning your party to be in the Ukiah area
then there is usually a $50 travel fee to cover the expenses
of gas and travel time. This fee is based on distance and will
vary depending on just how far away you are. Call me for an
estimate of your travel fee if you need to.
A few examples...
A group of eleven year olds wants to do a party. Their are eighteen
of them and they just want a Premium Basic Battle with no story.
They would like to play for one hour and that's it. The fee
is as follows: $75 for Basic Battles + Hourly Rate $90 (18 X
$5) for a total of $165 out the door.
A group of six year olds wants to do a Premium Simple Adventure
for one hour and wants to keep a Birthday Weapon. There are
eight of them and three parents will help out as well, so the
parents play free. The fee is as follows: $150 for Simple Adventure
+ Hourly Rate $40 (8 X $5) + Add on of Birthday Weapon $50 for
a total of $240 out the door.
A group of sixteen year olds want to do a Premium Complex Adventure
for three hours. There are fifteen of them and a few parents
who will help out and play free. The fee is as follows: $225
for Complex Adventure + Hourly Rate of $225 (15 X $5) X 3 hours,
for a total of $450 out the door.
