Birthday Parties and Events!

Fantasy Warplay also offers Birthday Party and Events Packages with various options and choices as well as scaled down version for all age groups. The parties can be anything from complex riddle quests to pitched battles. We have done everything from unicorn quests lead by farie princesses, to pirate ship battles, to Harry Potter, to ancient Greece. Anything is possible with the active imagination. Available Birthday Party Packages:

(1): The Junior League Package: $350. Time Frame: 2 hours. Numbers: up to 20 kids. This event is run like a Junior League event, with players playing heroes and monsters in the world of Roekron, the game world I am currently running in FanWar.

(2): The Themed Adventure: $400. Time Frame: 2 hours. Numbers: up to 20 kids. This event offers the child the opportunity to choose the type of adventure they want to have. Anything from pirates, to ancient Greece, or Harry Potter. This adventure comes with a custom map.

(3): The Complex Adventure: $450. Time Frame: 2 hours. Numbers: up to 20 kids. This event is completely customizable by you. If your child has an interest in a specific book series or fantasy world, we customize an adventure to fit your child's interest. These adventures have complicated plots that often use riddles and codes to be solved by the kids and comes with a custom map.

(4): The Build Your Own Adventure: $variable. Time Frame: any. Numbers: any number of kids. This event involves the creation of a customized package that meets your varied needs. We use a cost breakdown and various factors listed below to develop the perfect party that meets your budget. See below for more info.

A basic party consists of me or my staff bringing the gear, either to the birthday persons house if the land is big enough, or to a local park where we will meet and play. Depending on the complexity and timeframe of the event, I may need to meet in advance to discuss specifics and details. The choices and rates are as follows (if none of the options below are what you are looking for, feel free to contact me to work out what you have in mind):

    BUILD YOUR OWN PARTY PACKAGE!


    The rates that follow are for the Build Your Own Adventure Package listed above. To compute your total, just add up each piece of the party below.

  1. Type of Event (see below)
    Basic Battles: (games that use the weapons but no plot, just battles- capture the flag, etc.). $50
    • Simple Adventure: (battles with a storyline, monsters and heros). $100
    • Complex Plot: (a fully fleshed out adventure with riddles and twists, customized). $150 (minimum time frame of 2 hours for complex plots).
  2. Hourly Rate = $5 per child per hour.
  3. Staffing Charges: Premium (run by me personally) + $100 (for more info, go to the Staff Page)
    • Siblings and Parents can be monsters for free!
  4. Add on: Birthday Weapon (I make a weapon for your child to keep), add $25 for basic weapon, $50 for professional grade.
    • Add on: Birthday Item (hand painted sheild or small treasure chest): add $100.
  5. (Travel Fee): I work out of Ukiah, CA. If you are not planning your party to be in the Ukiah area then there is usually a $50 travel fee to cover the expenses of gas and travel time. This fee is based on distance and will vary depending on just how far away you are. To figure you travel cost, just multiply the number of hours it takes me to get there by $50. One hour of travel (one way) is $50. Two hours of travel $100, Three hours of travel $150.
A few examples...

A group of eleven year olds wants to do a party. Their are eighteen of them and they just want a Standard Basic Battle with no story, run by my staff only. They would like to play for one hour and that's it. The fee is as follows: $50 for Basic Battles + Hourly Rate $90 (18 X $5) for a total of $140 plus Travel.

A group of six year olds wants to do a Premium Simple Adventure (Premium means I run the event personally, not one of my staff) They want it to be one hour and want to keep a Birthday Weapon. There are eight of them and three parents will help out as well, so the parents play free. The fee is as follows: Premium Staffing ($100) + $100 for Simple Adventure + Hourly Rate $40 (8 X $5) + Add on of Birthday Weapon $50 for a total of $290 plus Travel.

A group of sixteen year olds want to do a Complex Adventure for three hours. They want Anthony to run the event and there are fifteen of them and a few parents who will help out and play free. The fee is as follows: Staffing Fee: $50 (Anthony is running it) + $150 for Complex Adventure + Hourly Rate of $225 (15 X $5) X 3 hours, for a total of $425 plus Travel.
