Junior League: Basic and Advanced

Junior League: FanWar has a Basic League available (for kids 9 and up) as well as an Advanced League (for kids 9 and up who want more complexity and have played a great deal). These two type of events are held all over the bay area. We play a simplified version of FanWar which is a one hit system (like freeze tag) that is easy for younger players to learn and play successfully. These events usually have a fee of $15 for a half day (about 3 hours). I supply all the equipment and train players in the rules at each event, so no experience is necessary to join, though new players must attend a Basic event before being evaluated for Advanced Leagues.

You can see examples of the weapon types and the learn the Equipment sets by watching these videos and then be ready to start at the next event you go to!


Advanced League: This League is the next level beyond Basic League and is only available to players who have done several Junior League events and have shown an ability to play in a more abstract way. There are very specific rules and skills in Advanced League that are directly related to the Adult League. This League requires a great deal of concentration and reading skills and is not for all kids. Players must learn several skills and spells and know how they operate in numerous situations. Players also level up and become more and more powerful as they play Advanced League just as they would in the Adult League and thus not everyone is at the same power level at these events. Because of the complexity of this level of play for young kids we limit the number of players to 30 per session. Here is the Demo Video of Advanced League.


There is a Rule Book for Junior and Advanced League (newly updated for 2009) available online (PDF). I also have hard copies now available for $10 each.

These events are also run by the FanWar Staff and can be arranged as private parties. Simply arrange a date with one of us and decide on the League you wish to host. If I am running the event, the standard $15 a set applies, but if it is run by my staff, in the Crestfall Game World, for example, the cost is only $10 per set..

Sean made a elder sorcery that enchanted a staff with instant exercisim touch and the staff is staff touch and some othere stuff that i forget. one flaw is that it only is a magic item when outsiders are around (demons, no problem there)

Fire Earth was under a giant whirlpool in the Blue reefs, oh and your hounds are polymorfed into flying snakes, dragonflys etc..... on a ship that reflects the sun REALLY brightly (sun earth) although the demon isnt there himself (i think its a he) and im not sure where the boats headed because we hightailed out of there before we could we destroyed

Chi Chang Fyu Ya has returned to its plane- all gargoyles are gone- but people feel the demons are only stalled or injured, they seek a more complete solution. Chi Chang is believed to have beengreviously wounded and at low power due to no divine connection. It is unclear if he completed his quest or simply could not carry on.

Quick plot update- Sorikonia- all tombs are cleared and both the dragon like demon and the mist like demon were hit with exorcism arrows by Chi Chang Fyu Ya (who was hit by Shadowlands Breath). Casualties are all wind royalty lost a leg, all Heaven royalty a hand, and all lake royalty have thin soul. Sorikonia is recovering and much more functional - and can take a active role now.
